Would it be possible to be able to add a node outside of an existing shape when modifying it? At present it seems as if you must add a node along an existing line and then move it where you want it.

Make them appear thicker or thinner in the same way you can change the colour.

When measuring shapes or polylines with curves it take a lot of 'clicks' to create a curve.
